FAQ

Once you finish with filling the online application form, go to section 1. Applications in your account, download PDF file named "Document", print the last page of it "Confirmation", sign it and attach the scan of it as "Signed application".

The study at university is allowed only in the Slovak language under this scholarship program. So if you do not speak Slovak, mark in your account, section 2. Basic data, that you do not speak Slovak language (reply"no" to the question "My knowledge of the Slovak language is sufficient to pass the study:"). If your application for the provision of the scholarship is accepted you will take part in the Slovak language and academic preparatory course which starts in September and lasts for 10 months, after finishing the course you can apply to university.

To apply for the provision of Slovak governmental scholarship, you have to meet the conditions, which can be found on the website - https://www.vladnestipendia.sk/en/wizard (only select your country). If you do not find your country there, this means you can not apply. 

Applicants for bachelor's or master's degrees must be 18 years old by the 1st of September, otherwise, they will not be able to apply. The age limitation is set to be for bachelor's and master's degrees 18 to 26 years old by the 1st of September. And for PhD, applicants must be 23 to 35 years old by the 1st of September.

Those who meet the conditions and would like to apply must register from the webiste - https://www.vladnestipendia.sk/en/registration. Please remember your email and password given in registration to be able to log in. After registration you will receive confirmation email with activation link (check also the spam folder). Click on the activation link first to activate your account then you will be able to log in from - https://www.vladnestipendia.sk/en/ . After log in you can fill the online application form and attach all required documents.  You can find also  manual in your account which might help you with filling the form.

Permitted formats for photograph: png, jpg, jpeg. Permitted formats for other documents: 'png','jpg', 'jpeg', 'gif', 'doc', 'docx', 'pdf', 'rtf', 'txt', 'zip'. Maximum permitted size of one upload is up to 10MB.  If you have more documents to one file, save them in ZIP file first, then you will be able to attach them at once. Or you can merge documents into one PDF file. To save attachments click on "Save data and continue". Save uploaded files one by one.

The link "New application" is visible only during the official term for applying. It is not possible to apply before or after the official term that is why the link "New application" is not displayed in the account. Publications are not required from applicants for bachelor or master degree. It is an optional attachment for those who apply for doctoral (PhD.) degree.
